The Congregational Health Ministry consists of a Coordinator, Health
Committee, and Team Members.
The Coordinator is a qualified Registered Nurse who has completed a basic
Parish Nurse Training course and has been formally dedicated by the
Pastor(s), Elders, and Deacons of FBC.
The Coordinator reports to the Pastor and an assigned Deacon, and is
guided by a health committee.
The CHM Health Committee consists of 6-8 individuals of varying ages who
may or may not be in a health care profession, but have a strong interest in
promoting wellness (physically, mentally, and spiritually) within the
congregation of the church. The
Pastor and CHM Coordinator(s) are automatically members of this Committee.

Ministry. The mission of the
committee is to be a strong influence on the congregation to the end that
stewardship of health is expressed in all areas of church life including
worship, education, support, and recreation.

Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals.
Their various roles and responsibilities within the ministry are
limited to their professional training and experience.
