Where Friendships Grow
And the Love of Learning Begins
Our Philosophy
Our preschool program is designed to provide children with the opportunity
to play and learn with teachers and classmates in a classroom environment.
Children receive practice following a structured daily routine, cooperating
with others, making friends, following directions, and speaking in front of
their peers. Creative playtime, active games, group activities and story
time are all important parts of our program. Together, we believe these
activities will help children: feel good about themselves and their
abilities, respect others, ask questions and seek our answers, enjoy
learning, feel comfortable coming to school.

Projects that give to the Community
FBC Preschool offers a Christian preschool curriculum that is designed to
help three to five year olds develop a wide range of social, cognitive, and
gross and fine motor skills that will enable them to succeed in the
kindergarten classroom. Areas of concentration include art expression,
language, math, music and movement, science and indoor/outdoor playtime.
There is an educational objective related to each classroom activity. Each
month, we focus on a Christian principle such as honesty, fairness,
kindness, etc. as well as a Bible story and verse. Along with working with
numbers, colors, shapes and letters, we also cover thematic units each
month. |
