PSALMS, HYMNS & SPIRITUAL SONGS

When we gather together in the Name of Jesus we lift up His Name above all Names.  It isn’t about styles and according to the Word of God, He likes it in all different ways! 

When a song becomes more than a song is when worship begins…and that is the point.  Music throughout Scripture preceded the steps of the daily lives of the people of Israel.  God established His law and covenant with His people so He could dwell with them and additionally, music was used in battle and the worshipper preceded the army in battle!  

In context, Ephesians 3:10-12 the apostle Paul says it like this,

“God who created all things so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.”

Music in worship is the outward expression of the church about the works of God!  It is the overflow that makes known the “manifold wisdom of God” known to the heavenly realms and all of us on earth so that all can know the Name of Jesus because it is all about His great Name!
